About Us

Executive function capacities — attention, working memory, and inhibitory control — are processes that support individuals’ ability to learn, reason, and decide. These skills are important throughout life, but are particularly salient for the growing number of older adults now searching for ways to improve cognitive function as they age. In our laboratory, we study how intervention and experience may shape the development of executive function processes throughout the life course.
